Larissa Garza

As a multidisciplinary artist, Larissa investigates the different ways in which we build our relationships and affective connections while deepening into themes like inhabitation, the building of memory out of the everyday, how we navigate life inside and outside the cyberspace, care and collaboration.

Their practice crosses the lines between art and life, and is motivated by keeping alive everything that makes us ourselves; opening space where multiple dialogues, exchanges and experiences can take place, often turning the individual intimacy into a collective intimacy.

Their research emerges from queer theory, feminism and the millennial experience; mainly through participatory projects, installations, video, self publications and resources found in cyberspace.

They currently live and work in Guadalajara, México and are in charge of PAOS GDL program.
