Jesús Torrivilla

Has worked in research and curatorial projects with an emphasis on the intersection between art, politics and violence in the Latin American contemporary production. He has a Master of Arts from Mexico City’s Universidad Panamericana, he is co-author of El bravo tuky (2015) a book about music and youth culture in Caracas, and he is preparing the publication of his second book, a history of conceptual art in Venezuela during the 70s. He is a researcher of the Chair Cuerpo, diáspora y exclusión: estética, política y violencia en la modernidad globalizada at Universidad Panamericana. He lives in Mexico City.
