Guillermo García Pérez

is an editor, essayist, communicator and artist with more than fifteen years of experience and a series of projects focused on the political reading of the present through aesthetics and theory. He is the Academic Curator of Campus Expandido, an academic program of the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo, and co-editor of LUCA, editorial platform and free exploration space, together with Nadia Baram. He has been curator and host of SAMA. Sesiones de escucha sostenida, 2020 cycle, and Icanitoa. Murmurar de los ausentes, in 2021, both broadcasted on Casa del Lago’s digital channels. This year his sound piece Radio Clinamen was broadcasted on Radio AlHara, Palestine, as part of the 50th edition of the Umbral Festival. He was editor of La Tempestad magazine from 2010-2020. He is the creator of the Ciclo Colector, which brings together the workshops El cuerpo en El capital; Spinoza contra el terror, and Canetti y los niños. He has collaborated in numerous publications such as Blog de Crítica, Icónica, Lobo Suelto! (Argentina), La Diaria (Uruguay), Revista de la Universidad de México and GQ.
