Fernanda Brenner

She works as an independent curator and artistic director based in São Paulo. In 2012, Fernanda founded Pivô, a non-profit art space dedicated to investigating and exhibiting contemporary in São Paulo. Fernanda has been working as the artistic director of the space since it’s opening, in the past 5 years the space has enabled more than 50 projects, including exhibitions, lectures and artists residencies, hosting over 200 artists from 15 different countries. Her writings appeared in a number of publications and websites such as Frieze, Frieze Week, Artreview, Vdrome, the Exhibitionist, Artsy and Harpers Bazaar and she is part of the editorial board of The Exhibitionist journal.

Selection of recent exhibitions include: So Far So Good at the White Cube Gallery and Neither that launched Mendes Wood DM’s gallery new venue in Brussels. She is currently working as a curatorial correspondent for FRONT (Cleveland Triennial), curated by Jens Hoffman and Michele Grabner and opening in 2018.
