Fabiola Torres-Alzaga

She studied at Escuela Activa de Fotografía (1999) and later at Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado “La Esmeralda” (2004). She lives and works in Mexico City, and her work has been exhibited individually and collectively, among these exhibitions are El polvo que se levanta crea telones, Nora Sotres Galería (2017); Entre actos, Museo del Chopo (2014); House of Games, Steve Turner Contemporary (2013), Los Angeles, USA; Porta-infinitos en la Sala de Arte Público Siqueiros, MX (2004); among other venues such as Maison des Arts de Malakoff (France), Museo Marco de Monterrey, Polytechnic Museum of Moscow, Laboratorio Arte Alameda (MX), Museo de Arte Moderno (MX), Museo Experimental El Eco (MX), Center for Contemporary Art (Tel Aviv), among others. She’s been granted the “Jóvenes Creadores” award from Fonca in 2004 and 2012, and in 2011 did a residency in Argentina through the Culture Department.
