Andrea Ocampo Cea is a writer and researcher in Popular Culture and Contemporary Youth. She holds a Master’s degree in Latin American Aesthetics and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Catholic University of Chile. Urban music, corporal diversity, human rights and young art are part of her analysis and creation. She has published Ciertos Ruidos, Nuevas Tribus Urbanas Chilenas (Ed. Planeta, 2009); Patio 29: La Democracia Imaginaria (Ed. Animita Cartonera, 2007) and Piñata (Ed. Ripio, 2010). Owner of a musical meme to her credit, she has published in various magazines such as Zona de Obras, VICE, Noisey and Nylon en Español.
