elilson

is an artist and teacher who holds a bachelor’s degree in Languages from UFPE and master’s degree in Performance Art from UFRJ. In 2018, he received a scholarship from the Training and Deformation Program of EAV – Parque Lage, in Rio de Janeiro, and received the Rumos Itaú Cultural award and the EDP art award of Instituto Tomie Ohtake, through which he participated in the art residence of the R.A.R.O program, in Buenos Aires. His projects as an educator include the conception and supervision of the educational program of the XII International Biennial of Architecture in São Paulo. He published the books Por uma mobilidade performativa (Editora Temporária, 2017) and Mobilidade [inter]urbana-performativa (via Rumos Itaú Cultural, 2019). With research involving performance, writing and installations, he started to be represented in 2020 by the art gallery Vermelho.
