Elena Tejada-Herrera

Is a transdisciplinary Peruvian artist who works in the intersection of performance, installation, video and social practice. She has been a Fellow of the Chicago Art Institute and Virginia Commonwealth University and has two MFAs in interdisciplinary media, new media and painting. The awards Tejada-Herrera has received include the James Nelson Raymond Award (USA, 2013), the Grand Prix at the XIII International Film and Video Festival Parnu (Estonia, 2007) and the first prize of Pasaporte para un Artista (Peru, 1999), among others. Her work has been exhibited around the world. She lives and works in Miami.
