Edgar Alejandro Hernández

Is a journalist, researcher, curator and art critic. He has a degree in Communication Sciences from UNAM. Co-author of the books “Sin límites. Arte contemporáneo en la Ciudad de México 2000-2010” (2013) and “Déjà vu. Celda Contemporánea 2004/2007” (2014). Editor and compiler of the book “Abuso mutuo. Ensayos e intervenciones sobre arte postmexicano 1992-2013” (2017), by Cuauhtémoc Medina. Curator of the exhibitions “Miasma” (2017), by Yoshua Okón; and “Museo Guggenheim Aguascalientes” (2015-2016), by Rolando López. Co-curator of the exhibition “Aquatania. Parte I” (2016), by Cristóbal Gracia; and co-producer of the film “El No-Me-Mires” (2015), by Carlos Amorales. He has written about contemporary art in the newspapers El Universal, Reforma and Excelsior, for the German Press Agency (DPA), as well as in the magazines Código, Vice, Ramona (Argentina) and Forbes. He is currently editor of the cultural section of the newspaper Excelsior and director of the cultural promoter Cubo Blanco. Author of the blog Cubo Blanco of the newspaper Excelsior.
