Brenda Lozano

Is a narrator and essayist. She edits the literary magazine make from Chicago and is part of Señal from Ugly Duckling Presse of New York. Her first novel Todo nada (Tusquets, 2009) will be made into a feature film. Her second novel is Cuaderno ideal (Alfaguara, 2014) and in this year she will publish the short story book Cómo piensan las piedras. In 2015 she was recognized by Conaculta, Hay Festival and the British Council as one of the most important writers under 40 years in her country. She currently lives in Mexico City.
