Benedicte Ramade

Benedicte Ramade is a French and Canadian art historian, lecturer, art critic, and curator specialized in Ecological Art. Since her postdoctoral fellowship at the Université de Montréal, her research has been focused on the impact of the Anthropocene era on
climate change discourses and visuality, environmental photography, and animal studies. She curated and published Acclimatation (CNAP, Villa Arson, Nice, 2009-2010); Rehab. L’art de re-faire (Fondation EDF, Paris, 2010-2011); The Edge of the Earth. Climate Change in Photography and Video (Ryerson Image Centre, Toronto, 2016) and Apparaître-Disparaître (The Grantham Foundation for the Arts and the Environment, Canada). She lives and works in Montreal (Québec).
