Ana García Jácome

Is a Mexican visual artist based in Naucalpan, Estado de México. Her work addresses how disability is conventionally represented, daily experienced, and the differences between both. She holds a BFA from the School of Arts and Design of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (FAD, UNAM) and her MA in Visual and Critical Studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with the support of the scholarship program of Fundación Jumex Arte Contemporáneo. She was part of the 2016 Photographic Production Seminar at Centro de la Imagen and had the Young Creators grant from FONCA in the 2017-2018 period.
