Alejandro Gómez Escorcia

Alejandro Gómez Escorcia (Hidalgo, 1990) studied Communication Sciences at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at UNAM. Since 2012, he has contributed to the digital strategy of cultural instances and museums such as Casa del Lago, Museo Universitario del Chopo, Museo Nacional del Virreinato, Dallas Museum of Art, Museo Nacional de Arte (MUNAL), Centro Nacional de las Artes (CENART), Centro de Cultura Digital, XIV biennial FEMSA and Laboratorio de Ciudadanía Digital. He has participated in the Arts and Machine Learning Summit at Google Arts in Paris and in the international congress Cultural Management without Borders through Digital Collaboration at the Menéndez Pelayo International University in Spain. He has also given workshops and conferences on social networks for culture at Piso 16 UNAM, La Colmena de la Secretaría de Cultura, Colegio Nacional, Centro Cultural de España in México and Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC). He is the creator of #MUS30S (Museos Tres Punto Cero), a space for the dissemination of digital museum practices in Mexico, and Neumacritic, a magazine on Instagram for contemporary art criticism.
