Aimar Arriola

They call him curator but he would like to be a healer. He was born in the Basque village of Markina-Xemein where every July the celebration to the “alarabi”, a single-eyed mythological genius with a circular foot, considered the first shepherd of sheep, takes place. Precocious for some things and not too early for others, he has been initiated in the mysteries of cooking at the age of forty. He lives in London where he works on a doctoral thesis among visions of meat, feathers and vaquitas of San Antonio.
