Los que esperan (Javier), plaster, metal, 2018 ; Exhibition view of LUFFA, Guadalajara90210, Guadalajara, Mexico, 2018 © Guadalajara90210 and the artist

LUFFA, first solo show of Rodrigue Mouchez in a Mexican gallery, is also the name of a natural sponge used to clean our body.

The exhibition is a consideration on our material environment, our daily life context, through the idea of a journey, a passage, physical or metaphysical.

The pieces, sculptures, and installations are generating a link between domestic waters, inner fluids and forgotten lakes, establishing possible dialogues between water pipes, human body fluids or groundwater.
